After Leo, Lokesh Kanagaraj Aims For Vikram-Level Magic With Coolie

Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj's reflections on his upcoming film Coolie suggest that he has toiled the hardest for the movie. Starring Rajinikanth, the movie is set for release on August 14, 2025.

Kanagaraj has spoken about his intense dedication to the project, noting that he spent two years fully immersed in its production. He nearly sacrificed his personal life and social engagements.

The director wants to recreate the Vikram-type magic after Thalapathy Vijay's Leo received a mixed reaction from movie buffs.

The film features a star-studded cast, including Akkineni Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Upendra, Sathyaraj, and a cameo by Aamir Khan as the character Dahaa.
