Speculations are doing the rounds in the Telugu film industry around director Vikram K Kumar’s upcoming project, reportedly titled 'Swari'. Rumours suggest that Vijay Deverakonda may step in as the lead actor, replacing Nithiin.
Sources close to the 'Manam' director confirm that preliminary discussions with Vijay Deverakonda are underway, though nothing has been finalised yet. “Preliminary talks are happening right now. Depending on logistics and other factors, we’ll decide the next steps. There are also multiple projects in the pipeline,” the source said on grounds of anonymity.
Addressing the rumours surrounding the content of Swari, the source clarified that the speculations are doing the rounds about Vikram Kumar's upcoming project, and it is not based on horse riding. The project is expected to go on floors around January or February, though final details are still being worked out.
Vikram Kumar's recent works include the feature film Thank You (2022) and his first web series, Dhootha with Amazon Prime with Naga Chaitanya in 2023.
