Aamir Khan praises Naga Chaitanya’s work in Thandel at trailer launch

Recalling their connection, Chaitanya shared a heartwarming anecdote from Love Story. “When Aamir watched the trailer, he messaged me saying, ‘What a lovely trailer! Can I come to the event you’re having in two days?’ His presence brought so much positivity, and the film went on to become a major success.”

With Thandel, where Chaitanya stars alongside Sai Pallavi, Aamir once again stepped in to unveil the trailer. “This is a magical moment for me,” Chaitanya expressed. “If this film succeeds—and I believe it will—I’ll make sure Aamir launches the trailers of every film Sai Pallavi and I work on in the future.”

Reflecting on his time with Aamir during Laal Singh Chaddha, Chaitanya added, “Spending six months working with Aamir left a lasting impact. I learned so much from him, not just as an actor but as a person. His influence will always play a big role in my life.”

Aamir, in turn, had glowing words for Thandel. “When the story is strong, the audience will come to watch. The trailer is fantastic, beautifully shot. ‘Dinka Chika,’ composed by DSP, is my favorite song—I can’t help but dance when I hear it.”

Praising the film’s emotional depth, Aamir continued, “The story of Thandel is moving, and the emotions are beautifully conveyed. Chay is an incredible actor, and so is Sai Pallavi. Chay is the ideal co-star—sharp, a true team player, and a wonderful person to be around. We share a great fondness for each other.”
