Sanjay Dutt arrives in Mumbai, heads to Siddhivinayak and mother's grave

Sanjay Dutt, who was convicted in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts case, was released early for good behaviour.

According to reports, Salman Khan had sent a number of bodyguards to keep a close eye on Sanjay and his wife as they made their way around the city.
Security outside the Bada Qabrastan was tightened for the day.
A number of Sanjay's friends, were all there at the Mumbai airport waiting to greet him with a warm hug.
According to reports, director Rajkumar Hirani was filming this moment for Sanjay's upcoming biopic that will see Ranbir Kapoor play the lead.
Sanjay took a moment to salute and look back at the jail before he walked over to his wife and kids.
Sanjay turned around to salute the national flag before leaving the jail.
Sanjay's release from jail was rather dramatic.
Dressed in dark blue shirt, a pair of faded denims, and a tilak on his forehead, Sanjay Dutt stepped out of the prison.
Sanjay was arrested on April 19, 1993, for possession and destruction of an AK-56 rifle, which was a part of cache of arms and explosives which landed in India prior to the serial blasts of March 1993.
Sanjay kissed the ground outside the prison gates while fans, friends and colleagues stood outside and cheered for him.
