Filming for the Sanjay Dutt biopic began on February 25, when the actor walked out of the jail. Rajkumar's cameras were posted outside the jail to record his 'walk to freedom'.

Ranbir will be essaying Sanjay in the biopic that will shed some light on the actor's trials, tribulations and even his time in the Yerwada jail.

Last evening, we spotted Ranbir drop by Sanjay's residence to pay him a visit. This was the first time we caught the young star visiting Sanjay since his release last month.
