Abhishek credits dad Amitabh for teaching him Kabaddi

The actor owns the Jaipur Pink Panther team that participates in the Pro Kabaddi League.

Fans can expect to see Abhishek bring along a few of his co-stars to the upcoming games. He will be seen in the multi-starrer 'Housefull 3'.
Last year, the matches saw a number of big Bollywood stars sitting in the stands and cheering the players on.
The season will begin with a match in Vishakhapatnam and the playoffs will take place at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on the March 4 and 5, 2016 with the largest indoor setup in the history of the league.
Riding on the massive success of its two seasons so far, Pro Kabaddi is all set to storm stadiums and television screens across India with its Season 3 beginning January 30, 2016.
The bi-annual plans have stemmed from the huge popularity that the sport has garnered and with a high demand for the sport from fans across segments.
The upcoming season will include 26 international players from 11 nations not only from around the sub-continent but also Kenya, Japan, Oman, Thailand, Indonesia and Poland.
From this year, the Pro Kabaddi League will become a bi-annual event.
Abhishek added that he was excited to learn about the sport after he watched his father's film, 'Ganga Ki Saugandh.'
\"And I must tell you that it is my father who taught me Kabaddi. At first, as usual my he was expressionless but then gave me a thumbs-up.\"
At the event, Abhishek said, \"I speak to my family about everything and that's what families do. I remember, I went to him and said, 'Paa, I am thinking of doing this and I feel passionate about it. I think, we can really make a difference.\"
He also said that his father Amitabh Bachchan taught him to play kabaddi as a kid.
At the conference, the actor opened up about his love for the sport and revealed that it was his superstar father who encouraged him to take his passion forward.
