Here are Sarabjit Singh's handwritten letters during his time in jail to his family

The film revolves around an Indian farmer, Sarabjit Singh, who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan.

The makers released the original letters written by Sarabjit Singh to his family.

Mumbai: Fans are patiently waiting for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda and Rich Chadha starrer film ‘Sarbjit’ to hit the theatres. Based on a true story, the film has already alarmed a lot of people with its heart wrenching trailer and moving songs.

So far, we have seen few stills from the film and are quite aware of Sarabjit’s heart breaking story. In the film’s trailer, we saw Randeep, who plays the role of Sarabjit, writing letters to his family members from his prison cell in Pakistan.

The makers have now released few original letters that were hand written by Sarabjit during his time in jail.

Excerpt from the letter: “Maine apko pehle hi likha hai ki aap mujhe apna khat apne hatho se likhar bheje kyuki muje ache bure khwaab aate rahe hai.

In his letter to Sukhpreet, Sarabjit wrote: "Meri pyaari jaane jaana. Yeh jo din meri zindagi ke bahut hi yaadgaar din hai. Jinhe mein saari zindagi bhi nahi bhula sakta."

Randeep plays the role of Sarabjit in the biopic. The film revolves around an Indian farmer who was convicted of terrorism and spying in Pakistan after he inadvertently crossed the border. It also stars Richa Chadha, who will essay the role of his wife, Sukhpreet Kaur.
