Andhra University inks pact with Scranton University, U.S.

VISAKHAPATNAM: A delegation led by Dr Gerald C. Zaboski, senior vice-president of Scranton University, United States of America visited Andhra University on Saturday and held discussions with vice-chancellor Prof PVGD  Prasad Reddy for academic collaborations between both the Universities.

Zaboski and Dr Kishore Babu in-charge registrar signed a Memorandum
of Understanding (MoU) for the Business Analytics course in Cohort mode starting from this year. Later, the vice-chancellor and Zaboski discussed extending the collaboration for 2+2 double degree programmes in CSE and IT also.

Dr E. Dhananjaya Rao, dean, International affairs, Prof Krishna Mohan, former
registrar, Dr G. Srinivasa Rao, associate dean and Ashok Kallam, chairman, Indo
Global Studies who facilitated the talks with Scranton also participated in the programme.

Prof Krishna Mohan emphasized that business analytics has a lot of job potential in IT and other business fields. Later Dr Gerald visited the American Corner and
AU Incubation centre.
