Telangana education minister Sabitha Indra Reddy released the TS EAMCET 2023 results in a press conference on Thursday. A total of 80 percent of students who wrote the exam passed in the engineering stream, while 86 percent cleared in agriculture.

Students from Andhra Pradesh topped in both the categories. S Anirudh from Visakhapatnam is the top ranker in engineering stream while B Satya is the topper in agriculture stream.

The top honours of the first five ranks were bagged by male students in both engineering and agriculture streams.

A total of 79 percent of boys and 85 percent of girls qualified in the engineering stream. This year, 86 per cent of students have passed in the Agriculture stream.

As many as 1,95,275 students appeared for the engineering exams and 1,06,514 students appeared for the agriculture stream.  Counselling for engineering admissions will begin in June.

Government Secretary (Higher Education) Karuna, College and Technical Education Commissioner Naveen Mittal, Telangana Council of Higher Education Chairman Prof R Limbadri also attended the press conference.
