ISB retains best Indian B-School ranking

HYDERABAD: In a continuation of its excellent track-record, the post graduate programme (PGP) offered by Indian School of Business (ISB) remained the best in India as per the Financial Times (FT) Global MBA Ranking 2023. The list was released here on Monday.

ISB is the only Indian B-school to figure in the top 50 worldwide. It has been ranked 39 globally and is sixth in Asia.

The premier institute is ranked No. 1 in India and 61 globally for research, reinforcing its vision of being a research-led management institution. This research ranking also demonstrates the quality of output generated by its faculty year on year.

Commenting on the ranking, Prof. Ramabhadran Thirumalai, deputy dean (academic programmes) said, "ISB's consistent ranking as the top B-school in India bears testimony to its constant endeavour to offer a research-backed curriculum and cutting-edge pedagogy delivered by faculty who are thought leaders in their specializations."

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, was ranked 51 globally and IIM Bangalore 52. Other B-schools which made to the top 100 include: IIM Calcutta (76), IIM Indore (89) and IIM Lucknow (90).

The top five B-schools aer Columbia Business School (US), Insead (France/Singapore), Iese Business School (Spain), Harvard Business School (US), Stanford Graduate School of Business (US).
