Last day for TS intermediate admissions extended to August 5

The process of admissions into intermediate first-year courses for the academic year 202324 in junior colleges across the state of Andhra Pradesh will end on July 15. The government has issued instructions to the management to complete the second phase of admissions before July 15 and clarified that this is the final deadline and there is no possibility of extending it again.  Hyderabad: In view of heavy rains and floods, the TS Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) extended the last date for admissions into first year intermediate for the academic year 2023-2024 up to August 5. This, to ensure eligible students are not deprived of the opportunity to pursue their higher education, the BIE said in a statement.

All principals of junior colleges offering two-year intermediate courses were informed of the decision via a notice on Monday and told that the belated admissions are permitted from August 6 to 16, with late fee of Rs 500 at private colleges and without late fee for government and government sector colleges.

Students and parents were informed to take admissions into affiliated junior colleges only, the list of which is provided in the official websites of the TSBIE - acadtsbie.cgg.gov.in and tsbie.cgg.gov.in
