IMD said most places registered temperatures above 40 degree C on Sunday. Ongole registered the highest temperature of 43.7, rising 3.1 degrees above the normal. Jangamaheswarapuuram recorded 43.4, followed by Kavali 43.3, Nellore 42.5, Amaravati 42.5 and Kurnool 42.4 degrees. (Image: IMD)
