Hotstar Specials and Pandey have come together for the show, which marks the digital debut of the director.

The filmmaker turned his germ of an idea on Chanakya into a whole script, which he then pitched to Ajay Devgn.

The cricket legend is all set to turn producer, and may even collaborate with John Abraham for his first project.

The actor will be playing real-life characters from different eras in his next few films.

Earlier, Paresh Rawal played the role of Govind Bharadwaj, which was based on Ajit Doval in URI.

National Award winning director Neeraj Pandey seems to be struggling to find his bearing after Akshay Kumar moved on.
