Mumbai: 45-year-old woman dies after falling into lift shaft in Navy Nagar building

A car and window panes of Jadhav's home were damaged in the attack that took place around 1.30 am, a police official said.

The incident took place when Omraje Nimbalkar was addressing an election rally at Padoli Naigaon village in Kalamb taluka.

Incident took place on Sunday when BJP corporator Kharat and his family members were inside their residence.

The accused, identified as Ganesh Pawar entered in the office of the victim, Mayank Mandot, 28, owner of a coaching class, around 6.30 pm.

The incident occurred on the late night of September 1 near Chincholi bunder bus stop on New Link Road.

The incident came to light after his father Ramprasad Ghadge, who teaches specially-abled children, returned home from the school.

Police confiscated the vehicle and took two of them into custody, as the third managed to slip away.

The woman was staying with the accused, who is also chairman of a residents' association in Cuffe Parade.

The woman, who was alone at home, was trying to make payment through debit card swipe machine when the indecent incident took place.
