The court made the observation while considering a petition filed by a firm named Micro Effect.

Though the Corporation acted fast and inducted nearly 3,000 PSC candidates, only 1,240 joined duty so far.

They also performed a shayana pradakshinam.

Sources said 35 BMTC and 12 KSRTC buses were damaged in stone-throwing incidents.

A total of 1,438 candidates from the PSC list were given appointment orders so far, out of whom 1,250 joined service.

The KSRTC management has already taken the details of such conductors from all depots.

It cancelled 1093 services due to the lack of conductors on Wednesday after the termination of conductors.
