Rupee sheds 8 paise against US dollar in early trade

RBI, meanwhile fixed the reference rate for the dollar at 63.7183 and for the euro at 78.1441.

Home currency retreated sharply from a fresh 3-year high and ended lower by 26 paise at 63.63 capping a spectacular 2-week upsurg.
