Klaasen, Reddy Power SRH Recovery to 92/4 After Early Collapse

Sunrisers Hyderabad have mounted a strong comeback against Lucknow Super Giants, reaching 92/4 in 14 overs after a shaky start in their IPL 2026 clash at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.

After being reduced to 26/4, Heinrich Klaasen and Nitish Kumar Reddy have turned the innings around with an impressive 66-run partnership off 41 balls. Klaasen is leading the charge with a fluent 40 off 27 deliveries, while Reddy has provided solid support with 29 off 23 balls.

The momentum shifted dramatically in the last few overs, with SRH scoring 61 runs in the previous five overs. Klaasen, in particular, took on Avesh Khan in the 14th over, smashing multiple boundaries in a 19-run over to accelerate the scoring.

Lucknow Super Giants, who dominated the powerplay through Mohammed Shami and early breakthroughs, are now under pressure as the SRH middle order gains control.

With wickets in hand and momentum on their side, SRH will look to push towards a competitive total in the final overs.
