Around 100 Flights Cancelled at Delhi Airport Amid Heightened Security
Around 100 flights were cancelled at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Sunday due to heightened security and airspace changes following the India-Pakistan conflict. A total of 52 domestic departures, 44 arrivals, and one international flight were affected between 5 am and 4:30 pm. Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) assured that the airport was operating normally but warned that some flight schedules and security checkpoint processing times could be impacted due to the changes. Additionally, at least 32 airports in northern and western India were temporarily shut for security reasons.
