IndiGo Suspends Almaty, Tashkent Flights Till June 14 Over Airspace Closure

IndiGo has extended the suspension of its Delhi-Almaty and Delhi-Tashkent flights till June 14 due to aircraft range limitations caused by the closure of Pakistan's airspace, an airline official said. The suspension, initially till May 7, follows rerouting challenges since April 24, when Pakistan shut its airspace after India’s retaliatory strikes under Operation Sindoor. IndiGo, which uses Airbus narrow-body jets, said both routes now fall beyond the fleet’s operational range.
