Abdul Rauf Azhar, JeM’s Operational Head, Reportedly Killed in Operation Sindoor India's "Operation Sindoor" has reportedly resulted in the death of Abdul Rauf Azhar, the younger brother of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar. Azhar, the operational head of JeM and mastermind behind the IC-814 hijacking, was reportedly undergoing treatment at a Pakistani military hospital when he succumbed to injuries. He was considered a central figure in international jihadist networks.
