Jaish-e-Mohammed's Markaz Centres in Pakistan Linked to Suicide Attacks, Hamas Ties

The two 'Markaz' (centres) of the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) in Pakistan's Punjab, Bahawalpur and Narowal, served as breeding grounds for suicide attackers and were linked to Hamas, officials revealed. These centres were among the nine targets hit by the Indian Air Force (IAF) during Operation Sindoor, in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack. The Bahawalpur centre, run by JeM's Abdul Rauf Asgar, was involved in hoarding NATO arms from Afghanistan, including M4 rifles and sniper guns. The Narowal facility, linked to Hamas, has been a training ground for operatives in infiltration tactics and paragliding. Both centres were responsible for indoctrinating terrorists involved in major attacks in India, including the 2016 Pathankot strike.
