More than 200 flights were cancelled and at least 18 airports, including Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, and Amritsar, were temporarily shut on Wednesday following missile strikes by Indian armed forces on terror targets in Pakistan and PoK under Operation Sindoor. Airlines including Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air suspended services due to airspace restrictions, with Air India alone halting operations at nine airports till May 10. Delhi airport saw over 35 cancellations, while foreign carriers, including Qatar Airways and American Airlines, also suspended some operations.
