The Regional Meteorological Centre in Nagpur has predicted thunderstorms with lightning, gusty winds (30–40 kmph), and light to moderate rain in parts of Vidarbha, including Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Yavatmal, and Gadchiroli, over the next few hours. A yellow alert has been issued for the next four days in 11 districts: Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Buldhana, and Washim.
