Volkswagen Brings Tayron Life SUV At Rs 41.99 Lakh

The Tayron Life comes with a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and 4Motion all-wheel drive, producing 204 PS and 320 Nm.

Pune: Volkswagen, the German automaker, on Friday expanded its SUV-line-up by introducing a lower-spec variant of the Tayron SUV for the Indian market. The new Tayron Life trim is positioned below its flagship SUV the Tayron R-Line (Rs 46.99 lakh) and is priced at Rs 41.99 lakh at Delhi showroom.

The new Tayron Life, a premium 5-seater SUV becomes the brand's second locally assembled model this year, is aimed at buyers looking for more space, technology and everyday practicality.

The Tayron Life comes with a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and 4Motion all-wheel drive, producing 204 PS and 320 Nm.

He said the car strengthens the brand’s premium SUV portfolio while delivering a compelling proposition centred around performance, space, comfort and driving confidence.

The Tayron Life gets a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a 10.24-inch digital instrument cluster, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters.

The Tayron Life’s safety features include nine airbags, Level 2 ADAS with 14 features like ventilated, heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, disc brakes on all four wheels, ESC, hill start assist, hill descent control, TPMS, and ISOFIX mounts for the outer rear seats and front passenger seat.

It also gets an auto-dimming IRVM, auto headlamp range control with dynamic cornering lights, anti-pinch power windows, and Volkswagen's XDS electronic differential lock, making it one of the better-equipped SUVs in its segment.
