Pune: MarkNext Group, a next-generation media, reputation intelligence and communications advisory firm, has appointed Nabeel A. Khan to lead its global operations as the group plans to expand into new markets.
Khan will take on the dual responsibilities of Group Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief, where he will lead the firm’s new media ventures across India, the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
Khan brings over two decades of experience across journalism, corporate communications and strategic leadership in some of the media houses in India.
He later moved into the corporate sector and most recently served as Deputy Vice-President & Head of PR, Communications & Public Affairs at French carmaker Renault India. Prior to that, he was Country Head – Middle East at Motherson Group.
As Group CEO, Khan will oversee MarkNext Group’s growth and expansion, with responsibility for the strategic direction of its reputation intelligence, public relations and corporate communications advisory businesses.
In his role as Editor-in-Chief, he will lead the editorial direction and launch of the Group’s upcoming new media platform, with a focus on industry reporting and information-led content.
“The media and communications landscape are at a critical inflection point. With the proliferation of AI and social media, there is a massive overflow of information and increasing noise, while clarity, quality and credibility (CQC) have been pushed to the edge,” said Khan.
MarkNext Group’s agenda is to emerge as the solution to these new-age challenges in news, information and communication.
The appointment comes as MarkNext Group looks to expand its presence across markets and build integrated media and communications offerings for the corporate sector.
The Middle East, particularly Dubai, is witnessing a growing focus on technology, innovation and new business ventures alongside its established economic sectors.
MarkNext Group plans to use this opportunity to build partnerships, strengthen its regional presence and develop its next-generation media and communications businesses across the region.
