Pune: Jeep, an American SUV brand owned by multinational corporation Stellantis, has brought in the most affordable Compass Sport, a diesel-automatic variant priced at Rs 21.99 lakh.

This brings the 9-speed automatic gearbox to the entry-level Sport trim of the Compass for the first time, making it the most affordable automatic version of the SUV in India.

Deliveries of the midsize SUV Compass Sport AT will begin from the second week of November 2026.

“The Compass has always stood for authentic Jeep capability, distinctive design and a confident driving experience,” said Kumar Priyesh, business head and director, automotive brands at Stellantis India.

With the introduction of the 9-speed automatic transmission in the Compass Sport, we are making that experience more accessible than ever before, he noted.

The modzise Compass Sport AT is powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder diesel engine paired with a 9-speed AT, producing 171 BHP and 350 Nm of torque.

An optional accessory pack priced at Rs 29,900 adds additional kit to the mix.

The accessory pack adds a swoosh decal on the exterior, along with mud flaps. The rest of the styling remains the same as before.

The Jeep Compass Sport AT trim gets 17-inch wheels, black ORVMs with integrated turn indicators, and chrome inserts in the front grille.

Inside, there are fabric inserts on the dashboard and door pads. The optional accessory pack adds ambient lighting and a dashcam to the SUV.

The Jeep Compass Sport AT comes with an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering-mounted controls, and electrically adjustable ORVMs.
