Transporters' strike against rising diesel, toll prices enters 8th day

New Delhi: Freight rates remained unavailable due to ongoing nationwide indefinite strike by transporters which entered the eighth day on Friday.

The truckers' key demands includes reduction in central and state taxes by getting diesel under the GST and reforming the "flawed and non-transparent" toll collection system.
