Ex-PNB MD dismissed by Centre

Anantha Subramanian was to superannuate on Monday but has been dismissed from the service.

New Delhi: The Centre on Monday dismissed former managing director of scam-hit PNB and Allahabad Bank, Usha Anantha Subramanian from service, according to a notification. She was to superannuate on Monday but has been dismissed from the service.

Ms. Ananthasubramanian was, three months back, divested of all her powers as MD of Allahabad Bank, after being named in a CBI charge-sheet in the Rs 14,000 crore PNB fraud case but had continued to be an employee of the bank.
