Bengaluru: Banks will remain open across the state on Monday, clarified bank officials to Deccan Chronicle on Friday.

They said while the banks are closed for four days in other parts of the country because of the weekend, as well as Krishna Janmashtami on Monday and Independence Day on Tuesday, there is a respite for customers in the state as Monday is not a closed holiday, they said.

Automated teller machines or ATMs will be loaded regularly and there will be no cash crunch, bank officials said.
