Bank vaults to go digital next?

After the sudden ban on high denomination notes, the latest rumour doing the rounds is “Digital lockers likely to replace bank locker keysâ€.

Among the many jokes and memes being forwarded on Modi Surgical Strikes, is the one below, and nobody is amused.

Ajay Gandhi, a senior accountant from the city, adds that the move is simply not possible to execute. “Just like that news about the microchip being inserted into notes, they're all hoaxes of the same kind. I my view, there’s no chance that it could happen,” he says.
