Hyderabad: Malabar Gold and Diamonds has announced a series of CSR activities across India and the Gulf countries in areas like education, women empowerment, health care, housing, etc.

As a part of this, Malabar Gold has announced scholarships worth Rs 2,000 to deserving 2,000 girl students to pursue Intermediate education in 2015-16 across Telangana and gave away cheques to the selected girl students.

As part of the 22 year celebrations, Malabar Gold and Diamonds branches in Telangana are distributing scholarships for hundreds under Empowering Education Empowering Woman-hood programme, the company said in a statement.
