Tax incentives for 9 backward districts of Telangana

Hyderabad: To give a boost to industrial activity in the state, the Centre has extended tax incentives for nine backward districts in Telangana.

According to an official release issued by the Telangana Industries Department, the nine districts are Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Medak, Mahbubnagar, Rangareddy, Nalgonda and Khammam.

Accordingly, manufacturing units, which are set up between April 1, 2015 and March 31, 2020 will be eligible for tax incentives, such as additional depreciation and investment allowance under the provisions, it added.
