Tata Motors, HPCL join hands to launch exclusive lubricants

HP TMGO is exclusively developed for passenger vehicles of the auto maker in the domestic market.

Various automakers like Toyota Kirloskar Motor, Honda Cars India, Skoda and Isuzu have already announced their decision to hike prices from January next year.

New Delhi: Tata Motors today joined hands with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) to launch a range of high performance lubricants exclusively developed for passenger vehicles of the auto maker in the domestic market.

The high performance range of HP Tata Motors Genuine Oil (HP TMGO) range includes engine oils, gear oils, steering and transmission fluids, coolants, brake fluids and greases, the company said in a statement.

"Available across the country, these lubricants will ensure delightful performance of the vehicles for a longer span. With a commitment to deliver better performance, HPCL will offer trusted support to our customers and will further enhance customer experience," Tata Motors Head, Customer Support, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Dinesh Bhasin said.

HPCL Executive Director, Direct Sales Rajnish Mehta said the company is looking to further consolidate its long standing relationship with Tata Motors in the coming years to offer products meeting requirements of emerging technologies.

Developed as per regulations and specifications required for the international passenger vehicles market, HP TMGO lubricants will be made available through HPCL's retail and bazaar network and Tata Motors service stations across India.
