Samsung to invest Rs 2,000-crore in Noida

Uttar Pradesh government approved the investment by Samsung India on Monday.

New Delhi: Samsung India on Monday announced expansion of its Noida plant with an investment of Rs 1,970 crore, strengthening its commitment to ‘Make in India’ and ‘Make for India’.

Uttar Pradesh government approved the investment by Samsung India on Monday. A MoU was signed between UP Chief secretary Rahul Bhatnagar and HC Hong, President and CEO, Samsung India Electronics, in the presence of Akhilesh Yadav.
