WorkFusion sets up 200-seater facility in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: US-based product development firm WorkFusion on Tuesday opened its 200-seater facility in Hyderabad.

Currently, the company employs around 100 professionals in Artificial Intelligence, Cloud computing and major IT technologies and is committed to give employ around 500 professionals in Hyderabad in the coming couple of years.


After the inauguration, Jayesh Ranjan, principal secretary for IT and industries, said Telangana has witnessed a steady growth in IT, which contributes one-third of the Indian IT industry output and employes 1.5 lakh people.

He also mentioned that BFSI(Banking, Financial Services  and Insurance) space has enormously increased in Hyderabad contributing 1/3rd of the total Indian BFSI industry. He invited the management of WorkFusion to jointly work with BFSI consortium, TASK in skill development & Artificial Intelligence initiatives.

He said that about 10 to 15 years ago many global organizations initially have setup their operations in Hyderabad for testing waters, but eventually they gained confidence and started expanding their teams and investments.

Alexy Vitashkevich, Chief Customer Officer (CCO) of WorkFusion, said Hyderabad is a promising place for software companies to set up their research and development centres.
