Bharat Electricity 2025 To Drive India’s Clean Energy Transition
Flagship energy platform to unite policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators for a sustainable power future
India’s ambition to achieve 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030 and Net Zero emissions by 2070 is set to get a major push with Bharat Electricity 2025, a flagship energy platform scheduled from September 2–4 at Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi.
The event, organised alongside POWERGEN India and Indian Utility Week, will bring together over 10,000 policymakers, regulators, global innovators, utilities, and investors to align policy, technology, and industry action for a sustainable energy future.
Backed by the Ministry of Power, Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, and several other central ministries, the forum is designed as the country’s most powerful convergence on clean energy. The Ministry of MSME will also set up a special pavilion for micro and small enterprises in the energy sector.
Guided by the theme “Viksit Bharat: Transforming Energy, Transforming Lives”, discussions will focus on renewable integration, grid modernization, energy storage, hydrogen, and digital public infrastructure. Senior Union Ministers including Power & Housing Minister Manohar Lal and Renewable Energy Minister Pralhad Joshi are expected to inaugurate the forum, underscoring the government’s commitment to energy security and sustainability.
The Governing Council steering the event is chaired by Bhupinder Singh Bhalla, former MNRE Secretary, with co-chairs Ghanshyam Prasad, Chairperson CEA, and Dr. Praveer Sinha, CEO & MD of Tata Power, alongside senior leaders from NTPC, Power Grid, ReNew, Suzlon, and others.
Over 250 exhibitors will showcase innovations across clean energy, smart grids, and storage technologies over 12,500 square meters. Live demonstrations and global partnerships are expected to highlight India’s growing leadership in the energy transition.
“Bharat Electricity 2025 is not just a conference but a crucible where India’s clean energy ambitions are translated into actionable pathways,” said P.K. Pujari, former CERC Chairperson.
