Skoda Kushaq, Slavia Elegance Editions launched

 Pune: Skoda, the Czech automaker, on Monday introduced a special edition of the Kushaq SUV and Slavia sedan, priced from Rs 18.31 lakh and Rs 17.52 lakh onwards at pan India showroom, respectively to boost sales.

The Elegance Editions, which are limited-run models, are positioned above the top-send Style variants of both cars to woo buyers.

While Kushaq Elegance Edition with manual transmission costs Rs 18.31 lakh, the dual-clutch automatic is priced Rs 19.51 lakh.

Slavia Elegance Edition with manual transmission is tagged at Rs 17.52 lakh while the dual-clutch automatic costs Rs 18.92 lakh.

Both models come in a new Deep Black exterior colour with a chrome grille, dual-tone alloy wheels and ‘Elegance’ badges on the B-pillars.

The Elegance Editions come with puddle lamps, rear seat cushions, seat belt cushions, neck rests, ‘Elegance’ badge on the steering wheel, textile mats and aluminium pedals.

The Slavia gets scuff plates with ‘Slavia’ inscription, while the Kushaq gets chrome body side moulding.

The Kushaq and Slavia Elegance Edition are powered by the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine which churns out 148 BHP and 250 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
