The sales result for Mercedes-Benz came recently. The German automaker has revealed its roadmap for the next year. From the proposed model line-up, it is evident that Mercedes-Benz doesn't want to move slowly. The company is supposed to launch as many as 20 vehicles till 2018. Have a look at the roadmap.

There are quite a few cars on the list that caught our eye. Let's glance through them one by one, shall we?

GLA facelift

The youngest ‘un in the Mercedes SUV lineup is all set to get a refresh. There are rumours of a GLA Coupe being in the works as well, that we believe rounds off the automaker’s portfolio nicely.

S-Class facelift

It isn't everyday Mercedes-Benz brings us a new S-Class. Often touted as the pinnacle of automotive technology and luxury, the sedan is due for an update next year. This particular update is a mere facelift though, and is likely to focus on aesthetic updates, without any major changes to the mechanicals.

GT C

It's not known whether Mercedes is working on an all-new car (to rival the Porsche 718, perhaps?) or will be tweaking the existing AMG GT. We have our bets on the former, considering the added 'C' - that stands for compact in Mercedes talk - moniker. This is expected to be offered in a coé as well as a convertible.

GT R Coupé

Wait, didn't Mercedes-AMG just introduce that? Well, yes they did. But looks like they aren't done with it just yet. If reports are to be believed a mental Black Series is in the work that will add more go-power to the already powerful AMG GT-R.

Pickup

We never thought we'd see this day. Mercedes-Benz is actually working on a full-blown pickup truck to battle the likes of the Nissan Navarra. We expect it to borrow design cues from the GLE SUV and look ridiculously cool!

Mercedes is also working on new EVs under the 'Smart' brand. It will introduce two fully electric hatches, the ForTwo and the ForFour. Other notable additions include coupé and convertible versions of the new E-Class. The German automaker has always been proactive in getting its latest products to India. We expect nothing different this time round as well. All major products, such as the CLA, the GLA, the new E-Class and the new S-Class will eventually make their way to our shores.
