2018 Honda Dio launched in two variants

Honda’s scooter lineup receives another update as the company launched the 2018 Dio scooter in two variants - Standard and Deluxe. The standard variant is priced at Rs 51,292 and Deluxe comes at a price of Rs 53,292 (ex-showroom Delhi).

For the year 2018, the scooter comes equipped with LED headlights, a four-in-one ignition key slot with a seat-opening button, front hook and underseat retractable hooks. It also features Honda’s CBS braking system which enables you to operate both brakes by applying pressure on just the rear lever, a handy feature for novice riders. In addition to the standard features, the deluxe variant receives a fully digital instrument console with 3-step eco speed indicator and service due indicator, and gold-coloured rims.

The standard variant is offered in a total of five colour options - orange, yellow, red, blue and grey metallic. The Deluxe variant, on the other hand, will be offered in four different colours - yellow metallic, green metallic, black and grey metallic.

Powering the 2018 Dio is the same BSIV-complaint, 109.19cc air-cooled motor that makes 7.9PS at 7000rpm and 8.91Nm of torque at 5500rpm. The Dio Deluxe competes against the Yamaha Ray-Z (Rs 50,817), TVS Wego (Rs 53,083) and the Suzuki Let's (Rs 49,030 all ex showroom, Delhi).
