The details of the same were outlined to Audi's shareholders by the board at its annual general meeting in Neckarsulm, Germany. Audi has confirmed three new EVs, the E-Trons, to be on roads by 2020, in addition to two new Q SUVs – Q4 and Q8 – which were confirmed recently.  It will also reveal all-new generations of its five core models by mid-2018. Besides this, electrification is Audi’s main focus and it intends to achieve over 30 per cent of fully or hybridised offerings by 2025 in its portfolio.

Further, the Ingolstadt-based automaker has not detailed replacement versions of its five core models as well. However, they are believed to be the new generation models of the A8, A7, Q3, A6 and the entry-level A1, which are the oldest models currently.
