Rajkumar Hirani's 'Saala Khadoos' team to visit Milkha Singh in Chandigarh

The makers of Saala Khadoos are mighty excited at an invitation they have just earned. No, it isn’t from an international film festival but from the legendary Milkha Singh, to his house in Chandigarh.

The octogenarian and former sprinter, it seems, was extremely happy to see a sports-oriented film that he thinks will go a long way in promoting boxing in the country or at least creating a much-needed curiosity around it.

The film features R. Madhavan as a tough boxing coach relentlessly pushing his protégé played by Ritika Singh. What made the Flying Sikh even happier was the fact that a mainstream producer like Rajkumar Hirani was backing it.

The Saala Khadoos team will make its way to Chandigarh to honour the invitation before continuing with city promotions.

An overwhelmed Rajkumar Hirani confirmed the news saying, “We are honoured to be invited by Milkha Singh and are looking forward to having lunch with him.”
