GHMC polls: No vote for parties defacing walls

Hyderabad: Residents of Lakshmi Nagar colony in Saidabad division have come out  strongly against those who spoil the colony’s walls with posters and graffiti for the February 2 GHMC elections. The Residents Welfare Association set up a board in the colony requesting people not to vote for such candidates.

The headline of the board says, “Request”. A message below it stated, “All the colony residents have decided not to vote for candidates who spoil the colony walls by sticking posters and wall-painting. Hence we request the candidates not to spoil the walls, Lakshminagar RWA. Meanwhile, the total voting strength is of Men: 37,79,281; women:  32,87,803; and 3rd Gender 850. Total number of voters is: 70,67,934.
