Hyderabad: TS TD leader Errabelli Dayakar Rao on Thursday alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao spent Rs 1,000 crore in 2015 to entice Opposition workers, leaders and legislators to join the TRS.

Addressing reporters here, Mr Dayakar Rao said the TRS government’s functioning in 2015 has been very disappointing since it did not do anything it promised.

He criticised the Chief Minister for avoiding facing the Assembly by not convening the customary Winter Session and limiting the Assembly sittings to just 21 days for the entire year.

The TD leader said farmer suicides, law and order related crimes, inability to control prices of essential commodities, delay in execution of projects in the name of re-engineering and re-designing were the major failures of the government in 2015.
