Hanumantha Rao trains guns on MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi

Hyderabad: Congress MP V. Hanumantha Rao on Saturday accused MIM president Asaduddin Owaisi and his MLA brother Akbaruddin Owaisi of neglecting poor Muslims and catering only to the rich through their educational institutions.

Objecting to the MP’s political speech on Milad-un-Nabi, Mr Rao said he had never heard such a political speech on such an auspicious occasion.

He accused the Owaisi brothers of trying to convert Old City as their bastion. “It’s common knowledge that Congress governments were responsible for Old City’s development, unlike the MIM,” he said.
