KOZHIKODE: Havildar M.V.  Subhash of Udinoor in Kasargod  drew a portrait of President Pranab Mukherji and handed it over to him in Secunderabad  a  few days ago, thus fulfilling one of his dreams.

The venue was the 88th convocation of  the military college of electronics and mechanical engineering.  Impressed by his creativity,  the President  asked his staff to take it to the Rashtrapathi Bhavan.

“He congratulated me and said that it was an amazing work,” said Subhash. His paintings adorn  the walls of many military offices across the country. They  include  the “war zone” at Army recruiting office in Secunderabad.
