Madhavan, who was last seen in Lingusamy’s Vettai has been missing in action for a while now. With his upcoming Tamil-Hindi bilingual Irudhi Suttru aka Saala Khadoos, he’s back in form. The trailer of the flick has been getting a good response overall on social networking sites. It looks like the actor has worked quite hard to shed the chocolate hero image that he had gained through the years. Irudhi Suttru will have Maddy playing a flirty, short-tempered boxing coach in a beefed up avatar with six-pack abs!

The trailer reveals that there’s scope for romance in the movie. We hear that he has been intensely working out, toning his physique for this role, in Los Angeles for the past few months. Sources say that the film unit roped in a couple of professional boxers. Ritika Singh and Mumtaz Sorcarto play the female leads. The film has Nassar, Radharavi and Kaali Venkat in pivotal roles.

Touted to be an out-and-out sports film, Irudhi Suttru is being produced by CV Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertain-ments and Sashikanth’s YNOT Studios, jointly and directed by Sudha Kongara Prasad. Santhosh Narayanan is music director and this will be his first project in Bollywood. Aamir Khan, filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj, Shruti Haasan and Salony Luthra are among the many stars who wished him luck for his film.
