Jammu: The upcoming Indo-Pak "comprehensive" dialogue will not succeed, a VHP leader said today, claiming Pakistan has never honoured agreements with India in the past.

"I feel that talks between India and Pakistan will not be successful in view of the track record (of Pakistan)... since 1947," Jammu and Kashmir VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) patron Rama Kant Dubey told reporters here.

"The infiltration has not stopped from Pakistan and militancy is going on, how it is possible we hold talk with Pakistan," he said, asking "what forced India to hold talks with Pakistan".

Breaking the logjam in their ties, India and Pakistan had yesterday announced that they have decided to engage in a "comprehensive" dialogue that will include peace and security and Jammu and Kashmir.
