Rs 9 lakh worth mala offered to Lord

Sankhavaram: Pradesh Congress Co-mmittee president N. Raghuveera Reddy and his wife had a darshan of Lord Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Murthy at Annavaram on Monday.

They offered Rs 9 lakh worth of Rudraksha garland with gold to the Lord. However, the temple authorities did not reveal the value of the Rudrakshas. They said they can’t reveal until the temple’s goldsmith makes appraisal of the ornament.

Mr Raghuveera Redddy has also participated in ‘Matti Satyagraham’ programme in Dondapadu village in Tuni Assembly Constituency. Former Union minister M.M. Pallam Raju, District Congress Committee president Kandula Durgesh, PCC secretary Pantham Nanaji and others attended the programme.
