Mumbai: Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos wants to send Donald Trump to space after the Republican presidential front-runner accused him of a suspected tax scam.

Trump on Monday attacked the Washington Post owner with a series of tweets indicating that Bezos has been using the Post as a ‘Tax Shelter’.

However, Bezos gave a simple, yet effective reply to Trump’s provocative tweets, which has gone viral on social media.

Bezos said, “Finally trashed by @realDonaldTrump. Will still reserve him a seat on the Blue Origin rocket. #sendDonaldtospace.” He also included a promotional video of a rocket landing from Blue Origin, which is his private space company.

Earlier, Trump had pointed out that the Amazon owner had bought the Post for evading tax.

Trump said, “The @washingtonpost, which loses a fortune, is owned by @JeffBezos for purposes of keeping taxes down at his no profit company, @amazon."

He also posted two other tweets highlighting the same point, which probably came as a backlash after the US newspaper’s constant criticism towards Trump’s policies.

However, the tweets made no sense at all to financial experts and netizens, who fended off Trump’s claim immediately.
