Khammam: Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy staged relay hunger strike on Monday demanding the state government to sanction 4,000 double bedroom houses in each Assembly segment and 10,000 houses for Khammam Municipal Corporation. Hundreds of party activists participated in the stir organised in front of collectorate. “There is a lot of demand for the housing and there was not a single sanction for the last five years,”,he said, adding that sanctioning of just 400 houses to a constituency is not sufficient. The two-day relay hunger strike will be concluded on November 24. He said that the TRS government is making policies without studying the ground realities.
